maple valley market: Maple Valley YTD Market Comparison '07 vs '08 - 09/01/08 06:07 PM
It was August '07 when the Maple Valley market began it's correction. So now, a year later, it is interesting to see what the full brunt of the correction has meant for single family home sales in our area. Comparing January '07 through August '07 properties listed and sold through NWMLS compared to those sold year to date shows the following changes:
2007 thru 8/31 Colleen Fischesser is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Select in Maple Valley, WA. She has been successfully selling and marketing properties all over South King & North Pierce counties since 1990 but specializes in the Maple Valley … (3 comments)

Over 100 Buyers (and most likely more given many listings will be purchased by couples) have decided Maple Valley, WA is the place for them to make their 2008 home purchase. Currently there are over 100 Single Family homes and Condos under contract and awaiting the close of Escrow.

These companies will often have their own forms and "quirky" requirements. Make sure you understand all the implications before signing on the dotted lineDo your due-diligence, talk with the neighbors, … (9 comments)

maple valley market: Maple Valley's Longest Listing? - 12/19/07 07:35 PM
If you're trying to sell a home or property right now in Maple Valley or know someone who is, you're probably painfully aware of how much longer properties are taking to sell in our area.
To be specific, active land listings in 98038 zip code have an average days on market time of 159. Single Family Residences, 111 days. But perhaps you can take some small measure of comfort in that you are not the owner of a property which has been on the market for 2378 days!!  Yep. Do the math people. That's six and a half years!!! (And it could be longer … (7 comments)
