scams: Scamming in the Rain - 08/09/08 08:03 AM
Yesterday I received an email sent via Active Rain by a Williams David & Associates. Apparently investment houses in England aren't able to handle large investments in the U.S. and need my assistance (I'm flattered). If anyone reading this would like to assist this person in investing twenty eight million, be my guest. -----

Recently my Broker boldly stated to me that I was the Stephen King of bloggers!
It's true, I've written a few post regarding scam artist that are preying on innocent people via Craigslist, and through mortgage fraud. Scams and rip-offs are a peeve of mine, and I enjoy putting them out there on Front Street.
Some say (even on this blog site) "If you're not writing to get clients and business, you shouldn't be writing". While I can certainly see the logic in that from an Agents standpoint, I disagree from a humanitarian perspective. I'm not out to save the world, … (19 comments)

scams: Loans, Lie's, and Lawyers - 11/25/07 08:03 PM
In the wake of the mortgage industry crises, we are all learning of the rampant fraud that pervaded the industry and played a key role in its collapse. Many mortgagees have fallen victim to unscrupulous lender practices and dishonest mortgage officers. I have yet to encounter a worse case of repeated victimization than the one whom is the center of this story. For those victims that want to take legal action against anyone in the mortgage industry, read this story and take heed.
