Our Augusta Georgia market is second in the nation in home value appreciation - not the "I like your house" brand of appreciation, but the increase in value version.
In the past year, the value of area homes increased (in total) 5.5 percent.
This information comes straight from the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which has a house price index based on the actual sale of homes. Most of the news from the agency is the national "Holy Toledo, things are bad" variety, such as the largest decline in home values in the 17-year history of the index.

I recently joined Century 21 Larry Miller Realty. After coming from a local only company.

With all the negative financial news lately do you feel like the sky is falling?
How much of the national, state or even local situation can you personally change? Very little, right? We can only keep our positive attitude & realize everybody lives in a house & most would like to move if you can help make it happen. How will YOU help them get happily moved?
While other parts of the country are having tremendous difficulties we need to realize how fortunate we are to live & work in the CSRA Georgia.

I did it I finally did it I have only been thinking about this and negotiating in my mind for months. Do I move and change brokerages or do I not. He offers/She says............who is right? Who is wrong is the silver (gold lining really there) You know the line "It will take you at least 6 montes to rebuild."
