We just closed on there home today. Bruce is in the Army and Stationed at Fort Gordon Augusta GA.
They got in contact with me about 40 days ago and said they were coming in to look at houses, We planed their 2 dayhouse hunting trip with 20 homes to see. We found the perfect house the first day (a corporate owned) house and submitted our offer! We only had 1 counter offer and all agreed on the price and conditions. We closed in 27 days!!

Now, it's not unusual for me to turn down a listing. It's just the market we are in.
REALTORS work on a commission basis. If we can't sell your home we don't make any money. It's that simple.
To list a home takes advertising money, gas and time. Maybe some REALTORS have a different situation, but I pay for all my advertising.
Gas is more expensive now...so I might not want to list a home that will require a lot of mileage to and from.
Time...I have plenty of that, but a REALTOR's time is just as valuable as an attorneys, doctors or anyone … (5 comments)

I am so THANKful the my youngest daughter Cheyenne likes to bake. She just started this year and has a real knack for it. We have made about 14 dozen cookies so far this Christmas Season, unfortunately they are all gone and very few made it to our friends.
