During Raincamp yesterday, Chris Smith suggested during his presentation that we visit Facebook.com/InmanNext. I'm not sure he intended for us to do it at that moment, but I did, and look what I found... A new tech toy that is sure to become a favorite of mine and my readers.

A very depressed message appeared on an online forum recently about the local real estate market. I could see, hear and even feel the angst and frustration...
I would like to sell my townhome this summer. For the past several months, I've been watching the Crofton market and it is just FLAT...
The post goes on to say how the market in another area is moving right now, but Crofton is slow and prices have dropped dramatically (in her words). I wanted to just reach out and give the author of this post a big giant hug and tell her … (10 comments)

MEDIAN SOLD PRICE is the half-way point between highest and lowest priced homes sold in a given area during a given period of time. Following the median sold price does provide one lens through which you might gauge trends in home selling prices. Another is average sold price.

AVERAGE SOLD PRICE is calculated by dividing the total sold $ volume by the number of properties sold in a given time. The average sold price is another lens through which you might gauge trends in home selling prices BUT it is seldom included in news reports about real estate trends … (9 comments)
