Once again I have decided to go down memory lane into my distant past. I guess the compulsion to do this must stem from the fact that I would like to record these memories before I can't. Now many of you, hopefully after reading the blog, may wish I would forget and quit annoying you with my ramblings. I was just talking with another agent about this question, and the pros and cons of doing rentals. She wasn't sure if it was worth her time and if it possibly would take away from her main objective, of selling homes. I know there are a lot of agents who would never consider renting a home, either based on a dislike for that form of real estate or just a feeling that it is below their status as a professional real estate agent. Go to the grocery store and look for a loaf of bread, what do you see? You see white, wheat, rye and so many different varieties you could spend hours just trying to decide which one would be best. What to do, well for most of us, we fall back to what we are most familiar with, and not necessarily what we might find to be the best bread. "When I was your age" I believe that is how one is suppose to start when taking a voyage back into ones past. I'll try to refrain from using such trite phrases but perhaps it is already too late. I came to the Clear Lake area and then moved to Kemah back in 1969. NASA balloons take off, HOPE NASA DOESN'T FLOAT AWAY
 
Yesterday I was leaving work and drove by all the onlookers waiting to see the hot air balloons ascend into space with the grandeur that only can be called spectacular. I have seen this site in Washington state and other places but what happens here at NASA, in Clear Lake, is beyond beautiful it is almost a religious experience. I just hope NASA doesn't end up only as a launching pad for hot air balloons but can stay the important local, state, country and worldwide leader into space.
