January 22nd: Italiafornia Night: Rodney Strong wine selections paired with a Northern Italian menu. Watch the EVENTS section of the Web site for details.

January 31st: MARDI GRAS Sunday Supper: decorated golf cart parade, New Orleans style food and drinks, Zydeco music. Bring the kids, we encourage everyone to wear their beads and "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez". For reservations, call Marvin 251.753.8994 or email marvin@steelwood.us.

Randy Speas teaches a kids' tennis clinic on Thursday afternoons. Call the Pro Shop if you'd like more information on this clinic or would like to organize a clinic for your group.
Get ready for a great year of Steelwood events including a Crush Wine Dinner, Couples Golf Scramble, Pork-A-Palooza BBQ Cook-Off, Bass Fishing Tournament, Oktoberfest Beer Dinner, and the Kids' Harvest Hayride. The 2010 Calendar of Events has been posted to the Web site at http://steelwood.us/lifestyle/events.asp. Check back regularly as we'll be adding events throughout the year. The January/February issue of the Steelwood newsletter was sent to members with their statement mailings. It is also available on property and can be downloaded from the Web site www.steelwood.us

The Steelwood Chapel holds services each Sunday at 11AM.  In 2009, weekly contributions to the chapel added up to donations made to Eye Angels, Catholic Social Services, Centro Medico Familiar, Salvation Army, Wilmer Hall and Child Advocacy. The Chapel keeps a prayer list and special mention is made of those on the list each Sunday.
