Point Clear - 10/16/09 10:37 AM
For over 20 years, annual charity polo matches have been held in Point Clear. These events have been some of the most successful fundraising events in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. This year Point Clear Charities, Inc.'s primary beneficiary is the Guardian Angel Program. This is Mercy Medical's pediatric home care that serves critically ill children in Baldwin and Mobile counties. In addition, other local charities will also benefit.
It's also a great time to check out available properties in Point Clear, Faihope, Daphne, Steelwood, Malbis, Spanish Fort or any of the surrounding areas.

Steelwood - 10/16/09 10:12 AM
Birders love Steelwood. The pine forests and natural waterways provide excellent habitats right on the property and many different species visit all year round.
Some of the most colorful resident breeding birds include the Orchard Oriole, Eastern Towhee, Summer Tanager, Blue Grosbeak, and Eastern Bluebird. Our neighborhoods are filled with the delightful musical calls of the Carolina Wren, Tufted Titmouse and Pine Warbler. Even the elusive Wood Thrush adds its voice to the chorus.

Detailed information on the bird life of Steelwood is available for interested members.  For a tour of all properties available give Mark Cross a call 251-401-4698 … (0 comments)

Steelwood hunts are enjoyed by experienced hunters and novices alike, whether it's a first hunt with your family, providing an unforgettable experience for clients, or a day to network with business associates and friends who enjoy the excitement of wing shooting.

At Steelwood, you can expect the finest guides and only well-trained dogs. Of course, the … (1 comments)

Steelwood - 10/05/09 04:37 PM
Steelwood was created in harmony with nature and takes advantage of its pristine natural setting. Hikers can spend the day exploring nature trails which wind through the dense pine forests bordering the lake and include a variety of ecosystems. Don't be surprised if your morning stroll brings you face to face with some of your less civilized neighbors - quail, deer, fish, and an occasional river otter. Blue birds, cardinals, woodpeckers, raccoons and gray squirrels are also numbered among our year-round residents.
Bikers can enjoy literally miles of secure roads, streets and trails for family bike rides. Our residents are encouraged … (1 comments)
