The Islamorada Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to our Holiday Party/After Hours on Tuesday,

Be it the when I lived in Paris and San Francisco, walking the urban centers and vibing on the electricity of life, or strolling the pastoral countryside of the South of France or the remote stretches of Tennessee, there is nothing like a nice long walk to liven and reinvigorate the senses.

Artists from the Art Guild of the Purple Isles and Island Christian School finalize a 60-foot-wide outdoor mural Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, in Key Largo, Fla.
The mural, at mile marker 95, depicts Henry Flagler's Florida Keys Over-Sea Railroad. The artwork is being created to honor the Jan. 22, 2012, centennial anniversary of the completion of the "railroad that went to sea" that remained in operation until September 1935.

As your humble Conchquistador, I am proud to announce that on January 1st, I will be assuming the role of General Manager of my firm, American Caribbean Real Estate. I must say that this is the proudest moment of my real estate career!
I have followed American Caribbean Real Estate (ACRE for short) since I first entered real estate, almost 17 years ago, when I practiced on the mainland and both ACRE and the real estate company that I was then with, were both Sotheby's Affiliates. This is a really interesting time in Florida Keys Real Estate. It's actually a good time for BOTH Buyers AND Sellers!! Usually it's one way or the other. It's Great for Sellers in that property are Selling. It's hard to keep good inventory. For Buyers it's still great because although homes are selling and inventory is lowering, prices are staying lowwwww.
I still do a Double Take when I see some of these prices.
