mirela monte myrtle beach real estate: Important TARP funds targeted for homeowners have not been released - 04/21/12 04:12 PM
Only 3 percent of the $7.6 billion in TARP funds that are targeted for troubled homeowners facing foreclosure have been spent, according to a report by the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Fund. The Hardest Hit Fund was created in 2010 to help struggling homeowners, but the Treasury Department has failed to distribute the vast majority of the money in the last two years due to "a lack of comprehensive planning," the report said. mirela monte myrtle beach real estate: 76% of all Oceanfront Condos Sold in Myrtle Beach Were CASH Transactions in 2010 - 01/03/11 10:24 PM
Upon compiling my market statistics for 2009, I was shocked to discover that 62% of all the oceanfront condos sold in the Myrtle Beach area in 2009 had transacted for CASH. That year, for the first time in my career, I noticed a trend with my own clients paying cash for their oceanfront condo purchases. By then, we knew we had a lending issue and nowhere else was it more evident than in the Oceanfront condo inventory. I anticipated a rise in that number when I compiled the statistics for 2010, but I didn’t expect what I

mirela monte myrtle beach real estate: Time is Money? Really? TELL THAT TO THE BANK!!! - 09/14/08 02:48 AM
One of the best lessons I've learnt in Real Estate came from a client. I was advising her to wait for a better offer, one that I knew I could get her. She said no, time is money and for every day the property stays on the market, money is lost. ...Say no more; I got it! Obviously the banks haven't had any such tutor. They have absolutely no understanding about the relationship between time and money. I thought it was only happening with short sales, where the 2-6 months closings seem to be the norm. Two days ago

mirela monte myrtle beach real estate: I have a novel idea for getting that property SOLD: - 09/08/08 01:18 PM
What? A HUGE price reduction AND a $ 5,000 Bonus to the selling agent for any accepted offer? A 10% commission? A vehicle thrown into the deal? A small boat? Membership to the golf course? ...And yet none of this is working? I have a novel idea for getting that property SOLD: PRICE IT RIGHT WHEN YOU FIRST PUT IT ON THE MARKET! Your neighbor may have sold his home for significantly more money a couple of years ago. You may have bought yours for significantly more. You may have to bring cash to closing in order to
