twitter: Twitter Treasure-Trove... This is Awesome!!! - 05/30/09 05:39 PM
After you create your Twitter profile, this is what you need to know: the magic on Twitter only unfolds AFTER you follow some interesting people and entities. Your Twitter experience rests solely on that. If you follow silly people who text each other banal messages, you will simply have that limited experience. If, however, you are like me, a hog for information, and you follow the right Twitterers, you too will have an extraordinarily enjoyable experience and learn a lot in the process. Here are some valuable websites that will help you maximize your Twitter experience: http://wefollow.com/ Shows who's

twitter: How Your Personal Dunbar Number Affects Your Ability to Effectively Network Online - 04/03/09 10:48 PM
Via Mary McKnight (Sacrilicious Marketing): OK, Im gonna get all Ivy League "thinky" on you. If you think you can handle a dash of Mary sans controversy, read on. Oh, yeah, I also pull out my sociology degree in this one, so be prepared for theory and statistics. Its gonna be hot and a little heavy. In sociology, there is this funky monkey number called the Dunbar Number AKA "the theoretical cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships." That number is generally accepted to be around 150. Basically what this means

twitter: I Blog... Therefore I Am! - 03/16/09 12:49 PM
A year and a half ago I thought "blogging" was a dirty word. Now I am nr. 36 on the AR scale. My, what a difference a year and a half makes! 50+ Clients and 372 subscriptions later, I am now a full proponent of blogging, my most favorite activity other than... Real Estate, of course! What did you think I was going to say? By this time next month I will be fully inducted into the Thousand Blog Club. Active Rain was my first Internet adventure. Wait, I'll take that back, Match.com was my first

Matthew is giving us some great Twitter coping tools here. Enjoy! Mirela Monte, Your Myrtle Beach Real Estate Connection Proud Optimist! Via Matthew Dollinger (@properties): (In Follow up to an original post at The You Factor) And while we're all hopped up on the topic of Twitter, I wanted to give a shout

twitter: Face it Tweety: Plaxo Linkedin MySpace! - 02/01/09 07:54 PM
Facebook, Twitter, Plaxo, LinkedIn, MySpace. Did I miss anyone? The social networks are in and they are taking over the Internet with a vengeance. Many of us are using one or two of these social sites to stay in touch with friends and to network for business and pleasure. My teenage daughter uses MySpace and so do all her friends.
