Our Famous Giant Snow Man ~ By Lori Cofer REALTOR Your Pullman Real Estate Connection Over the Christmas Break for Washington State University, the Pacific Northwest was absolutely dumped on with snow storm after snow storm! I believe we had somewhere between two to three feet of snow! And it just kept coming, storm after storm...Needless to say we had a White Christmas in Pullman this year! In fact, it snowed all of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! It was truly a Winter Wonderland... So what do you get when you combine lots of snow and kids home for Winter Break? (6 comments)

Feel like sampling some Washington Wines in Pullman? We have two wineries here locally with tasting rooms. Merry Cellars began in 2004 with their first crush. This family owned winery begun by Patrick Merry produces red and white wines from fruit grown in Washington. By Lori Cofer ~ Your Pullman Real Estate Connection Rebecca Schwartz, one of the organizers for the rally to send care packages to our troops during deployment sent me an email thanking all who supported the December 6th troop support party. Due to the efforts of Pullman residents from young to old stockings were stuffed, Christmas cards were written resulting in approximately two dozen Christmas care packages to make their holiday brighter. The influx of students is always an exciting time for Pullman as a steady stream of cars brings our little college town back to life. All the snow is beginning to melt and traveling should be easier! Thank goodness! Many will be arriving for Thursday's Men's Basketball game against the California Golden Bears which is scheduled for 7:00PM at the Beasley Coliseum. In the Pacific Northwest we have had an unbelievable few weeks of winter's worst. Here is how dangerous a situation this can be. Just today a chunk of snow and ice fell from the roof of this Hayden Idaho building causing the gas line to rupture causing a million dollars of damage.
