30 things to do in pullman wa: 30 Things To Do in Pullman Washington: Day 29 - 11/29/12 07:58 AM
As a Realtor that helps lots of folks relocate to our great community, I am often asked about things to do or great restaurants to visit.   One you must put on your short list of restaurants to try is "The Black Cypress."
The Black Cypress is abosolutely amazing!  I have had the privilege of eating there many times, and it impresses me everytime.  Two of my favorites are the incredible pork chops....and the chicken is beyond words in my humble opinion.  And their rolls are irresistible.  I know...I have tried to resist to no avail!
I have both been treated … (0 comments)

30 things to do in pullman wa: 30 Things To Do in Pullman Washington: Day 27 - 11/27/12 05:48 AM

Today at our staff at the Daily Grind, there was this great wagon stuffed with WSU items to raffle off to benefit the Willow Center for  Grieving Children.  It was appropriately titled "Wave the Flag - Go Cougs" as it was stuffed with Cougar items sponsored by the Bookie and the Holiday Inn Express.  The wagon is valued at $500.00 and tickets are a $5 or 5 for $20.  What a great valued!
I was also most interested in Willow Center for Greiving Children and have placed a call into see what I can personally do to help.  It … (1 comments)

In our list of 30 things to do in Pullman we have a great family friendly indoor ice rink.  The ice rink is located in nearby Moscow Idaho, our sister city just 15 minutes away.  It is, of course, a seasonal sport, so it is open form October 21 to March 31st.

The Palouse Ice Rink offers figure skating and ice skating lessons for both children and adults.  They also offer both adult and youth Ice Hockey programs and leagues.  You might want to check out their schedule for public skates, lessons and prices etc.  It is also a … (1 comments)

I often have clients who are relocating to the area want to know a few good restaurants or places to visit while in Pullman.  I have several nearby restaurants that I recommend, but today I will write about Swilly's as yesterday I took my two new homeowners for a celebration lunch.     Swilly's is a cute intimate restaurant located along the Palouse River.  Their menu offers a very well rounded choice.  Yesterday I had the soup of the day which was a potato leek soup that was absolutely delicious with a side salad of a lovely bed of … (1 comments)

30 things to do in pullman wa: 30 Things to Do in Pullman Washington: Day 20 - 11/20/12 04:33 AM
Day 20 of 30 Things to Do in Pullman has got to be a visit to the nearby Dahmen Barn. I took this picture last winter with just a dusting of snow. The wagon wheel fence is truly unique. For those of you who love barns, this is absolutely must see.
The barn began renovation in 2004 and was opened in 2006. Located just minutes south of Pullman, in neaby Uniontown, there is this great barn that was restored and now offers spaces for local artisians to work and display their wares.
Not only does it provide a great gift shop,  but also … (0 comments)

Today  (Friday November 2, 2012), is incredible for two reasons!
One is my first born son's birthday. And yes, I am a proud Mother of both of my sons.  It is is amazing to see them all grown up.  And my first born is a father himself of an adorable 2 year old daugther.  So, I guess I am beginning today's blog with counting my blessings.

Second is that it is an amazingly beautiful day in Pullman with temperatures forecasted to be 57 with a 41 degree low.  That calls for getting out and enjoying the weather … (2 comments)
