Traditionally held on the first Saturday of the month from April to December, in 2007 Market Days will expand to the whole weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, for the last three months of the year just in time to shop for Christmas gifts! If you have never attended a Market Day in Wimberley, you have a treat in store. Reminiscent of a Roman bazaar. over four hundred and fifty vendor booths line tree-covered paths that twist and wind their way over sixteen acres. Here you can find most anything from antique windows to windmills and barn doors to bathtubs...food, furniture, crafts, art, and fun...you never know what you may discover! And it's definitely not a flea market! Vendor products must pass approval by the Lions Club management before obtaining exhibit space, so you'll be assured the unusual and the unique.
There's live entertainment, lots of good food, no admission fee and convenient, inexpensive parking.
Gates to Market Day open early, about 6 AM, and close when the last vendor packs up the merchandise and heads for home.

December 1st & 2nd and 8th & 9th, 2007 on 6th Street in Georgetown
Each December Georgetown, Texas transforms for two weekends into a busy Christmas scene reminiscent of Christmas of long ago. Thousands visit Georgetown to experience a traditional holiday where Christmas hasn't changed in 100 years: roasted chestnuts, holiday shopping, horse-drawn wagon rides through historic Georgetown, and wonderful sights and smells.
Cherry Creek features an expansive collection of well-kept one- and two-story homes, peaceful winding roads and a wealth of beautiful oak trees. Like a quiet contradiction, Cherry Creek sounds and feels removed from the busy and vibrant city, but is actually within close proximity of shopping, employment, entertainment and highway access. I love this community so much that I live here. I watched this community for months before I bought my house. When I found my perfect home I submitted an offer the day the house went on the market!
Location, location, location! An expansive community with numerous subdivisions, Cherry Creek is accessed by such major roadways as William Cannon, Manchaca, Stassney, and Brodie Lane, West Gate, MoPac and Interstate 35. The community also features several bus routes. My favorite grocery store, Central Market, is just a few blocks away. HEB (grocery store) is less than a mile away. Barton Creek Square Mall is a quick 10 minute drive. But you'd never know that when you're walking in my neighborhood - the tree-lined streets are so peaceful and clean.
Nearby Garrison Park offers a serene family retreat and features picnic tables, barbecue grills, basketball court and children's playscape set among shade trees.
Cherry Creek homes range from approximately 1,300 to more than 2,500 square feet. Many were built in the 1970s while others are less than 3-years-old.
Prices range from about $150,000 to more than $220,000. That pricing coupled with location, character and nearby schools have made Cherry Creek a desirable community for more than 30 years.
Children that live in Cherry Creek attend Sunset Valley Elementary School or Cowan Elementary School, Covington Middle School, and Bowie High School or Crockett High School.
