Turtle MemorialMyrtle Beach as well as other areas of South Carolina will be having a tax free weekend for back to school purchases.  Rumors abound that this may be the last one or at least the next one will be more restrictive. If a shopper has been planning a major purchase, they may find this weekend is the time to buy.  Double check with sales people to be sure your purchase is tax free. Only certain items are allowed, but it is a long list which is creating some issues because SC needs the money.  Their revenue is down. Tanger Outlet stores were re-stocking every where I went today in preparation for Friday.  The tax free weekend will end on Sunday night.
