Black Friday vs. Small Business Saturday: Are We Really THAT Hard-Up For A Big TV?? - 11/23/11 03:17 AM
Small Business Saturday is a terrific idea and one that we as small business people should really embrace. Let's face it small businesses employ people from our communities, keep the money in the local community and pay their taxes locally to help support the communities they do business in. It's a win, win, win. This blog post by Marie Graham says it all. Via Marie Graham Home Stager (the refreshed home White Plains NY): As much as I would love this post to have a calm and moderate tone, sorry, it's just not happening. Just starting to come off the worst economic downfall (4 comments)

Potential clients often ask "why should I talk to a lender before I find a home?" My response is always the same "it will make your buying experience so much easier and here's why." 1. It's the first step in the process of buying a home in Scottsdale, and it's not just my first step. No professional agent is going to work with you if you aren't serious enough to get lender approval. And when you're buying a home in Scottsdale you want to be represented by a professional service driven agent. You want a Realtor that is looking out for (3 comments)
Cave Creek, AZ 85331 Market Report November 2011 - 11/15/11 04:24 AM
Cave Creek, AZ 85331 Market Report November 2011 As a Realtor living and working in the Phoenix Metro Area I am often asked what parts of the Valley are selling well? What areas are seeing price increases or at least holding their values and where will buyers get the best deal: Lender Owned (REO), Short Sales (SS) or Traditional (Norm)? Below is an example of research, (from the Cromford Report), that I supply to buyers and sellers when they are interested in a specific area of the valley. It can be narrowed or expanded to meet the needs of the client. (1 comments)
What Is A Veteran? 11/11/11 - 11/11/11 02:25 AM
*With A Special A Thank You To All Veterans* What is a Veteran? Some veterans bear visible signs of their service: a missing limb, a jagged scar, a certain look in the eye. Others may carry the evidence inside them: a pin holding a bone together, a piece of shrapnel in the leg - or perhaps another sort of inner steel: the soul's ally forged in the refinery of adversity. Except in parades, however, the men and women who have kept America safe wear no badge or emblem. You can't tell a vet just by looking. He is the cop (6 comments)

2nd Annual Pics & Treats For two years we've offered trick or treaters more than just candy when they stop by our house. If mom or dad says it's OK we photograph the kids, (or the kids with their parents), in their costumes and email the photo file to the parents, usually within 48 hrs. The idea of a keepsake Halloween photo started in 2010 and probably came out of our "former life" in photography. We've always enjoyed Halloween, it's such a fun holiday, there's a party like atmosphere in the neighborhood, everyone, especially the kids are so happy to (2 comments)
