One way to succeed in business, in life, and on Facebook is to know the limits or boundaries that have been set to help us along the way. Here are some important ones: Facebook Profile:
You can only have 5,000 friends. You can only send direct messages to 20 people at a time. You can only tag 6 people on a post. Facebook Groups: The Group Administrators can only send direct messages if the Group has less than 5,000 members. Facebook Notes are used for marketing purposes. According to Facebook Terms of Use, Facebook Profiles should not be used with the objective to sell or market a product; however, you can create Facebook Notes on you Facebook Business Page (AKA Facebook Fan Page).
Because of their text-based nature, many Facebook users find Facebook Notes dull and ineffective; however, Facebook encourages you to cheat your way to better Facebook Notes, by using a little HTML. With all the fuss about Facebook Marketing and Facebook advertising, I thought I would give everyone a little refresh or reminder on the "Facebook Promotions Guidelines" Date of Last Revision: February 10, 2009. You may not in any way: (1) Use Facebook's name, trademarks, trade names, copyrights, or any other Facebook intellectual property in the rules to or any other materials relating to the promotion;
(2) Directly or indirectly indicate that Facebook is a sponsor or administrator of the promotion; or
(3) Administer the promotion on the Facebook site, other than through an application on the Facebook Platform.

I am glad to report that there is a new feature in Facebook that allows you to customize your update privacy settings. Pretty self explanatory...check this out!

For the most part. Third party advertisers can use the pictures you post on Facebook without your permission! I know I wouldn’t want my photos endorsing a product, person or behavior without my consent. Would you? Here’s the fine print: “Facebook occasionally pairs advertisements with relevant social actions from a user's friends to create Facebook Ads. Facebook Ads make advertisements more interesting and more tailored to you and your friends. These respect all privacy rules. You may opt out of appearing in your friends' Facebook Ads below.” So here’s where you find “BELOW”
