Today, I'm doing and Open House...

well, two actually. The big thing on my mind is saftey. Forgive me if this topic has been recently discussed, I'm new :-) We can no longer ignore the fact that we need to step up our safety awareness. I heard a little something recently about the National Association of Realtors, I believe it was, having some kind of personal safety paging device we can wear. A transmitter of some type that plugs into a home owners phone line that we clip to ourselves much like a pager. If we are in danger, a touch of a button conacts 911. Anyone know of or use this device?

Another safety related idea was to bring a Mortgage Broker along with you during your open house. I love this idea! Not only do you have a someone who can provide important information on the spot, but company when the open is slow...much like I expect on this Super Bowl Sunday!
