Several weeks ago, during a routine home inspection of a new home in Bryan, Texas, the inspector told my first time home buyer client that the left side of the soffit did not have vent holes, like were present on the right hand side.  It became an issue of concern to my buyer...why were the vents missing from the solid, Hardi plank soffit?

In thinking about home and family, home sellers often may overlook the front entry door. Familiarity may cause them to think of other things when they see the door. Rest assured, though, when potential buyers come to their home for the first time, this is one of the first things they might study as they are waiting for the door to be opened.
