trulia: Should Sites Like Zillow and Trulia Have The Right To Sell Me Leads For My Listings? - 02/02/12 11:08 AM

There has been some noise (by noise I mean quite a few posts and stories) about whether the MLS is on a downward spiral and whether 10 years from now will there even be an MLS. I can tell you this, I don’t know how I’d do the things I do without an MLS. It’s the hub for all of the information associated with a listing. Other sites may have syndicated most of the information, or allowed the listing agent to put a few more pictures up, or any number of things. trulia: Spammers, I'm Putting You On Notice! - 07/06/11 05:22 PM

I wrote a post the other day entitled Are You Suffering From "NeedToPickARealtorItis"? It was a lighthearted way of helping international home buyers understand that here in Davenport buyers only work with one Realtor. I posted that blog in ActiveRain, Trulia, CFLInvestmentHomes as well as a few other sights. The more the information is out there the more people I can help.
Well within 2 minutes of me posting it on Trulia another Realtor went into my comments section and posted this comment.

trulia: "Criminal" Is Not A Protected Social Class - 06/21/11 12:44 PM

This subject came to mind today when I checked out the new Trulia Crime Map Tool. The subject line in their email read "How to answer your buyers' questions about Davenport crime rates". I had a go at their crime maps and read through their blog post as well.
Once all of the data for every city is compiled and mapped this will make a great tool which will make discussing crime in a certain area much more convenient. I will give it to Trulia, they got it right as far as the map is concerned.
