We have been advertising in a local real estate book for almost a year and a half now. We usually purchase two full pages and the cover when possible. Unlike many advertisers in our area, we work to pay our bill early or on time to be certain we can pay for it. Due to the market conditions, this book was unable to publish a new issue after May. One year ago to date I was averaging 2000 hits per month on a one year old website. I was buying leads from lead to realty at $50 per lead (5 per month). I also was part of a short sale system that cost me another $500 per month. On top of this I had a team of investors from California that kept me as busy as I could be. I jumped into building a team because I couldn't property manage all the leads myself. After leaving Idaho for the Caribbean for an opportunity of a lifetime I have already begun

Let's figure this out together: How flat is the world. Does it really matter where in the world we are located if we can figure out a way to market successfully to our customers? With all of the websites that are out there... where are the best places to sell real estate in a down market? Boise, Idaho? India? China? Also, what are the best sites to sell property on in today's ever changing market? Yahoo? Google Base? Kijiji? Zillow? What are your thoughts?
