Higher priced homes ($600,000 to $2 million) are seeing their values drop while $400-600,000 are on the rise. The run up that waterfront homes in the $200-300,000s were experiencing is retracting. Cedar Creek Lake, Texas waterfront home sales for September, 2011 were comparable to 2010 sales. Off-water homes sales, generally led by Gun Barrel City, were about 1/3 lower than 2010. While we are experiencing a bit softer market this year, our team is pleased to report that we had 6 closings of the 19 waterfront sales last month!
