I always hear agents discuss Open Houses. Most seem to think they are a waste of time. Over the last year, I have gotten some good business from my Opens. I have changed how I do them over the years. I like so many other agents use to do them to get business from neighbors and from potential buyers. I would bring print outs from the MLS of similar properties....so that if our house did not fit their needs, we could talk about what else was on the market. Did I write that correctly. Interesting note from Redding, Shasta County, CA. I talked with an agent on Friday about the possibility of her putting an offer in on one of our short sale properties. She commented that she would wait until Monday to see if they would. They had three offers in on other houses and there were multiple offers on all three houses. She wanted to wait and see if they were successful on any of the three.
