I just wanted to thank everyone that came into comment on my quest to learn a new technique. I want the detail in photos but I want a softer feel overall. When I "sharpen" I often times don't like it and yet I want that detail there. I took two photos and ask everyone to compare them. I had taken the GIMP sharpened photo and used the "soften" feature in Picnick.

It is always a treat to get to the Farmer's Market on either Saturday or Sunday. We are able to buy beautiful flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables and many other locally produced products. From locally grown honey, handmade soaps and oils to beautiful pottery, it is always a day for fun and greating our local merchants.

My tag-line is that "I answer my phone". Is that unusual? It is a rhetorical question, I believe it is but should it be. When you want to know something and you go on-line and find good information, what do you do? You pick up the phone and call to inquire or to order.
