I am always in great anticipation about the Redding Farmer's Market opening up in April. Located in the area West of the Redding City Hall, it is my every Saturday must do activity. This year may be a little slow in getting started with the offerings of fruit and veggies due to a prolonged and wet Winter season.
Local farmers have not really been able to produce during this unseasonable weather. Crafts and food vendors will be the main attraction with some Farmers coming up from the South.

The North Coast gets a lot of fog and so we were delighted to have a very foggy day to explore what use to be a thriving lumber processing mill. We love Marinas. We use to own a 37' Hershine Tri-Cabin Trawler and we had the end tie in Marina Village. We are lovers of boats...all boats...of any kind. We love to go and see the boats. In our travels in the North State, we found ourselves on the North Coast of California in Trinidad. High on a hill by the Lighthouse, we found a perfect day when we could see forever. I love those rare and beautiful days. The North Coast of California is known to be foggy and cold with one of the most treacherous coastlines in the world. Rough Seas and rocky coastline make for some tough seafaring. For the tourist, however it makes for some beautiful views and for the photographer, a day like no other.
