Redding CA ~ Visit Lassen Volcanic National Park and the Wildflowers--AS we took a day trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park this past week, I was amazed at the beauty and richness of this tall forested wildland. Because of the volcanic nature of the park, I expected to only see dry and barren volcanic land. I was a misconception on my part. The park has amazing diversity in areas and topography. The Lassen Loomis Museum Association is a non-profit, cooperating association with Lassen Volcanic National Park. The association is dedicated to enhancing the Park's visitor's experience by providing reference and informational history books of the Park. The Museum also provides displays of photography and topopgraphy of the park's interior. The exhibits display cutural and the physical dynamics of the parks many attributes and physical layouts. The museum is a must see and a great place to look for books on the history and the dynamic and living nature of the Park. It also supports the Park and their goals.
