Hello ActiveRain and all my good friends!
The days have been rolling by and with each day there has been an intention to post and to come back and visit my friends. I miss you all and just want to take a moment to express how beautiful you all are. I do check in on you on a regular basis and I may not be quite up to speed on all that you are doing but I do have you ever present in my awareness.
I am a work in progress and I believe that you will be proud of me … (25 comments)

localism: Living on the River in Shasta County California - Forever Views! - 03/10/12 08:58 PM
The Sacramento River flows through Siskiyou, Shasta and Tehama Counties and brings a wonderful opportunity to live on the River in the Tri-Counties. The combination of living on the River combined with being high on a bluff offers stunning views. While traveling the Tri-Counties with our work as the Local Listing Broker for HUD, we have many opportunities to see the River and the beauty of this powerful River coursing through our area. Here is a day in Red Bluff in Tehama County. The River is beautiful here.

localism: Using the Reblog - Opportunity to Showcase Good Knowledge in Your Market and to Get Local Engagement! - 02/12/12 05:54 AM
Using the Reblog is such a great opportunity. When someone has spent endless time and effort on a post that provides good information and insight into our Industry and business, it is a privilege to reblog that information out to our local market. What a great idea and we are so much richer for the opportunity to do so.
It is an opportunity that you will want to use correctly. Many times, members that are reblogging will turn off comments. In my opinion there can be a time when you want to do that and there will be times when you … (2 comments)

It comes to us by degrees. We build that marketing and branding awareness and we improve it year after year. Connections are made and engagement occurs. localism: Photography in the World of Real Estate - The Visual Art Form of Marketing! - 01/22/12 03:27 AM
I have always been a visual person. I love certain colors that draw me and entertain me. I love beauty and the visual aesthetic quality of presenting things well. There is a flow to the art of presentation that will keep the eye moving and finds the heart and mind feeling satiated. When things are not so placed there is a war going on within the mind to analyze and find the flaw. When we have achieved that beautiful balance of placement, color, texture and flow, the mind joins with the heart to enjoy and experience that "aha moment".

localism: The Journey of Growth - The ActiveRain Diary of a Blogger! - 12/04/11 02:52 AM
So many changes in my life and so much growth in the last four years. I first joined ActiveRain in September of 2007. I had been meaning to look into ActiveRain and this blogging thing my Bay Area friends kept talking about and mentioning but time was always short and things always delayed.
One day, I found myself joining and setting up my profile on ActiveRain. I am rather a strong personality and I typically do things in an very committed way. It is an all or nothing proposition for me as an individual in most things I choose to do … (68 comments)

localism: HyperLocal Marketing - Six Ways to Market a Local Community! - 08/06/10 04:54 AM
Hyper-Local Marketing - Six Ways to Market a Local Community--Hyper-Local marketing is a wonderful way to help people learn about the Communities in your area. When you think of how you want to market a community or any niche market really, you just have to imagine what it is like to live there. As Realtors, we often times do Open Houses at our listings and so we get to know what it feels like to be in the home. We hear the birds sing and the traffic if there is any. We notice if it is quiet. I always love to … (41 comments)
