Just Launched Our New Property Management Website

I was pretty fortunate to land a pretty good domain name for my Las Vegas Property Management business. I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go with the website but after much thought and research, I decided to go with WordPress, using the Thesis template. I still need to do a few more customization tweeks and upload a video but for the most part it is finished:

Hey Vegas Agents,

I have a little project I have been working on and thought I would share it with you. I launched a Las Vegas Real Estate Group Blog back in June on an aged domain name. It was created on a basic Thesis WordPress Template but some customization will be done shortly. I have been adding a few articles every month to it and been building links to the site. So far it has been doing pretty well in the search engines and has been generating decent traffic.

I believe it is now ready to opened up to other Las Vegas Real Estate Agents. There will be no search function for consumers on the site, it will be basically an open forum to discuss what's going on in the Las Vegas Real Estate Industry in a group setting made up of real estate agents from different companies throughout the valley. Each agent that participates will be added as a contributor and will have a link to a site of their choice and you can embed links within your articles, just don't over do it. Anyone that is into Internet Marketing and SEO knows that generating links is an important aspect in getting your website to rank well in the search engines.

There is no cost or monthly subscription fee to participate. I think it would be a great opportunity to have a group of agents from different companies expressing their opinions and information about what's going on in the Las Vegas Real Estate Market on one Las Vegas platform. I know this is going to cause some controversy, especially with the agents that hang their license at real estate companies that charge franchise fees but I am okay with that :)

I started my real estate career in 2001 when I hung my Las Vegas real estate license with a company that charged a franchise fee, amongst other fees. I chalked it up as I was new and didn’t know anything different. But now with over 8 years in the Las Vegas Real Estate business, I would like to say I know better. With buyers and sellers using the Internet more, which is leveling the playing field, I wonder why real estate agents in Las Vegas would hang their license at a Real Estate Brokerage that charges a franchise fee?
