Showings are few and far between, houses are selling but most after many, many days on the market with them selling for less than the seller would like.&nbsp; Land seems to be holding steady in price - but still sitting for days upon days on the market.&nbsp; So I thnk sellers (and REALTORS&reg;!) need to be patient and most are. Buyers need to do what it takes to qualify for a loan (even if it's&nbsp;wait, rent and save) but if they can,&nbsp;buyers should&nbsp;take advantage of low interest rates and lower home prices.&nbsp; And if you like the home and the numbers work for you - go for it.&nbsp; Yes some people have scored great homes, from&nbsp;foreclosures or desperate sellers at super low prices -&nbsp; but most sellers can't come near competing with the repo prices,&nbsp;and a lived in home is a whole lot more move in ready than a foreclosed property that has set vacant for 2 years - and may not turn out to be the great bargain it seemed like.</p> Neva Smith (Liberty Real Estate) Sat, 11 Sep 2010 01:36:14 -0700 http://activerain.com/blogsview/1850398/quick-buy-a-house-before-the-snow-flies-
