     Much m0re than just a balcony decorates this New Orleans Garden Distict home.  This looks to be a balcony off the master suite of this historic treasure.   These are functional balconies and well as a way to decorate you home.

New Orelans Condo Foreclosures! Warehouse District Update!

      I often get asked about getting a good or great deal on a condo in the New Orleans Warehouse District.  There just have not been bank foreclosures  for sale.  Since the beginning of 2009 I can only remember 5 that came on the market.  They all happened to be very good deals.  I sold 3 of them, but they stayed on the market for a while before getting scoopedup by a Sawy buyer.  They were generally in great shape and needed very little done to them.

Living on a Street Car line in New Orleans! Why drive all the time?

     Living near or on the New Orleans Street Car line can its advantages.  You do not always have to drive.  You can ride and actually enjoy the scenery and the ride to work or to play.  The historic line just makes people feel good.  Its much more than just a tourist attraction.  Everyone except the local meter maids love the reliable streetcar.   You are on the right tract when you ride!

Spring Flowers and Cold is gone in New Orleans! Spring is Here!
 

      Stay in New Orleans for a couple of days and the weather will change.  The best times of the year in my opinion for great weather is March, April and May.  You can enjoy the hot sweaty summers but that is not our best.  October, November, and December are also nice since the heat is gone.  The rainy could be at anytime of the year.  We had 25 inches in December of 2009.
