Last week our Keller Williams Office had its 2008 awards banquet. I had a closing that day so I was not able to make it to the banquet but I was presented with an award because I was ranked #36 in production for an individual agent in our office (our office has roughly 450-500 agents)!
I can only thank my clients for this. If it were not for my clients then I would not be receiving this award nor would I still be in business, so I truly do appreciate your business.

Everywhere you read the headlines are about the struggling economy or the rising in foreclosures and the dip in home prices, but here in the Dallas area luckily we haven't really been hit that hard (Stung is the best word that comes to mind for the Dallas Economy).BUT home buyers are reading these same headlines and they are thinking that our local real estate economy here stinks...So, what that means to you as a seller is that they (the Buyer) is taking their time on making decisions. Mortgage Rates At The Lowest Point EVER! - 03/28/09 10:48 AM
Last week the Federal Reserve said it would double its purchases of mortgages debt... The interest rate fell to under 5% (Click Here To Search For Home Just Like The Realtors Do). This has caused another mini refiance boom for loan officers, according to the associated press mortgage applications were up 32.2% for the week ended March 20.

The topic everyone speaks about nowadays is the economy that we are experiencing. Friends and Family will ask how my business is doing and they are shocked when I tell them how well it is going.
The reason why business is still strong for me is because I get my clients to understand that the real estate news they have heard is not local it is national news. So, when potential home buyers hear about double-digit price declines that worries them and they are relecutant to look at homes.

February 24, 2009 www.Forbes.com has ranked Dallas, Tx has the 8th best Housing market in the country.
I believe this is no shock to the hard working Realtors in the area. I myself have been working with a ton of buyer's that were waiting on the sidelines all through last year. With areas of the DFW metroplex either staying flat in home values or appreciating then this is the time to buy a home!
