I was picking up breakfast at Subway yesterday morning (yes, Subway has breakfast and it is awesome!) and I watched this gentleman sitting at the table finishing his food and when got up to leave he pulled his business card out of his wallet and left it on the table as well as leaving one on top of the trash can.\
I was wondering if anyone would truly call someone from a business card that they picked up off the table? Is the business card only good to give out when meeting people in person? Will newer smart phones (3 comments)

dallas real estate: Thank You To All My Past, Current, and Future Clients. - 03/31/09 08:41 PM
Last week our Keller Williams Office had its 2008 awards banquet. I had a closing that day so I was not able to make it to the banquet but I was presented with an award because I was ranked #36 in production for an individual agent in our office (our office has roughly 450-500 agents)!
I can only thank my clients for this. If it were not for my clients then I would not be receiving this award nor would I still be in business, so I truly do appreciate your business.
The topic everyone speaks about nowadays is the economy that we are experiencing. Friends and Family will ask how my business is doing and they are shocked when I tell them how well it is going.
The reason why business is still strong for me is because I get my clients to understand that the real estate news they have heard is not local it is national news. So, when potential home buyers hear about double-digit price declines that worries them and they are relecutant to look at homes.
The reality is that Dallas has hardly been (0 comments)
I woke up this morning bright and early around 5:15 to a driveway covered in about an inch of ice! I am the sane one in the family that nornally would not get out in this type of weather, but my wife, who is a Trauma ICU nurse has to go in no matter what (sick people don't stop getting sick just because Dallas shuts down due to ice!).
So after ten minutes of working to get the car door open, we get it started so I can turn on the window defrosters. We head out onto 75 around (0 comments)
dallas real estate: Dallas Real Estate Sales Down 17% BUT... - 11/11/08 07:48 PM
According to the Dallas Morning News Tuesday November 11, 2008 edition home sales were down 17% from a year ago as well as a fall in the median home price to $140,000. The good news is there are signs of the market is nearing the bottom Dr. James Gaines an economist with Texas A&M Real Estate Center said that “fortunately prices may hold nearly flat, even though home sales continue to decline.” Dr. Gaines goes on to mention how Texas is still one of the best housing markets in the country. The even better news is that housing inventory has fallen (0 comments)
dallas real estate: Contemporary Modern Homes Are Booming in Dallas! - 10/15/08 11:16 PM
Modern design gaining popularity 06:35 PM CDT on Friday, June 27, 2008 By KATE GOODLOE / Special Contributor to The Dallas Morning News When it comes to architecture, many new homes in Dallas look the same: brick exterior, peaked roof and a sprawling garage in front. But buyers are increasingly open to straying from that standard, local architects said, and embracing modern design. Modern homes have been built in Dallas for decades, but the number of buyers interested in them has grown significantly in recent years.
