A New Search Engine - 11/21/11 08:08 AM
Recently, I have been "searching" for a new search engine. Yahoo and Google and Bing drive me crazy with all the filters they have on us. Google and Yahoo and Bing say they do not track you, but they do. Don't be fooled. When you type in what you want to search - they filter it according to your search habits - you know, your browing history. I don't appreciate that. I want to know everything, not just what interests me. I want truth, I want information - is that so difficult? I don't want just what the search engines think … (18 comments)

Power Of Consumer - 11/13/11 09:40 AM
The point is that you can not always get the full truth from the internet. Professional comments and opinions mean something still, seek a professional especially in real estate if you want to know the truth about today's real estate market and environment.
Via Jon Zolsky, Daytona Beach, FL. FunCoast Realty, 386-405-4408:
It is a fascinating world. Before, the media was all Big Thing. We read the newspapers and watched TV. It was all produced by big companies with huge budgets and enormous professional stuff.
Internet has changed that. Now, there was World Wide Web and it cost you pennies or nothing to disseminate your … (1 comments)

Florida Leads The Nation For Homeowners Who DO NOT PAY Their Mortgage Payments - 11/13/11 09:32 AM
Very interesting that Bank Of America and Wells Fargo are starting the incentive programs after all the stubborn practices they have put in place over the years. Perhaps, they are learning that it is in their best interest to get the shadow inventory off the market. Google+ Business Pages - 11/13/11 08:54 AM
Google+ is quickly becoming an important tool in the business of real estate. And it is a business. Networking to sell real estate is an important part of the puzzle in today's real estate economy.
Via Pamela Cendejas, Second Self Virtual Assistance (928) 692-3235 (Second Self Virtual Assistance):
By now, you should be well aware of how important a business page is on the internet.  If you don't have your real estate business listed on Google, Yahoo and/or Bing, you're behind the times.  Of course, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are also great places to create business listings as well as interact with your peers … (2 comments)

Local is as local does – are agents overdoing it with the “local expert” mantra? - 11/13/11 08:27 AM
Real estate agents that expand their territories generally  have more transactions under their belts: Listing agents should have an inventory that is vast and wide in the area which they cover.
Via Ruthmarie Hicks (Keller Williams Realty - White Plains NY):
This is a tough topic for  me to address objectively.  However, I have seen many blogs recently from agents touting their expertise as “local experts”.  Meanwhile, I’m also seeing quite  a number of other agents bragging about the number of listings that they have.  Most of these agents can not possibly accumulate the raw numbers by being local. Many of these agents have … (7 comments)

Is The Blog The Most Important Part Of Online Presence? - 11/13/11 08:24 AM
Blogs have to be written with an end in-mind. That end defines the keywords to be targeted. Getting a consumer to find and read your blog is the first step - it is what consumers are looking for - content!
Via Tom Branch | Broker, CDPE, SFR, ACRE | Plano TX Ambassador | 214-227-6626 (RE/MAX Dallas Suburbs):
I recently saw this question posed on another forum, "Is the blog the most important part of online presence?"

What Is The Dollar Value of A First Impression? - 11/13/11 08:19 AM
When a home shows well, there is immediate response. Pricing the property correcly, and staging are keys to successful conclusions for any home seller in today's market.
Via Home Staging and Redesign Minneapolis/ St. Paul, MN - Shar Sitter (Rooms With Style):
Do you have any idea what the dollar value is of a buyer's first impression?
Home Stagers talk about first impressions all the time. We talk until we are blue in the face and sometimes we are still dismissed with "it's not that important, I have a great kitchen."
That may be true but the first gut reaction never goes away. I … (0 comments)
