       BRRRRRR! -- Our Indian summer in New Hampshire is gone and the chill of winter is in the air -- the temperature dropped to 34 degrees last night!
  Get out of the cold and come to the Annual Trick or Treat Festival at the Pheasant Lane Mall, in Nashua, New Hampshire.
   Participating stores will have lots of treats and goodies for the kids.  There are some special treats (while they last) at the Guest Services Desk.
   The Trick or Treat event is from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31st.

    I can't imagine Nashua, New Hampshire without its independent baseball team -- The Nashua Pride. 
      For several months, it looked like The Pride would not remain in Nashua.   Just over a month ago, I was sitting with owner,John Stabile, at a Nashua Chamber of Commerce event and things looked grim!  In spite of this uncertainly, last month the Pride won the Can-Am League championship!
  
       Today The Telegraph announced that the Nashua Pride will be back!

Nashua New Hampshire 2nd Annual Halloween Ball - Support the Arts - 10/20/07 12:01 AM
 
             Celebrate the season while supporting the visual and performing Arts of greater Nashua. 
       City Arts Nashua is holding its 2nd annual Halloween Ball on Saturday, October 27 from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight.    
    The Gala will take place At Martha's Exchange at 185 Main Street in Downtown Nashua.    This will be an event you won't want to miss!  There will be live entertainment with renowned jazz vocalist Wendee Glick and dancing with DJ, Russ Carlton.  Of course, there will be Hors d'oeuvres.  In addition, there will be a cash bar, raffles, silent auction and door prizes.

Mark your calendar for this Friday night to attend a benefit sponsored by Zetland Homes, LLC for the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA and visit one of the first certified GREEN Homes to be built in New Hampshire.

    Nashua, New Hampshire will host the 6th Annual Taste of the Towns wine and food tasting benefit.  You won't want to miss this event.
   The benefit will raise funds for the The Nashua Center, a non-profit agency founded in 1974 to provide high quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or delays throughout southern New Hampshire.  The cost is $75.00 per person.

New Hampshire Milford 18th Annual Pumpkin Festival - 10/07/07 10:28 AM
 
     New Hampshire has a lot of wonderful festivals in the fall.  You won't want to miss the 18th annual pumpkin festival in Milford, NH.
     One of the unique events is the pumpkin catapult.  For a small fee one can select a pumpkin and see it launched -- stuffed pumpkins are seen floating in the air and hit targets!  Everyone gets a good laugh as they see where the pumpkins land.  
                                                                      
    This is a kid-friendly, family festival.  There is a haunted trail, live music, scarecrow making, arts and crafts, face painting, pumpkin painting and foods.
