New Hampshire ranks # 1 for children's well being. The Annie E. Casey Foundation just released its 2010 KIDS COUNT data Book which looks at improvements in child well-being on a state by state bases. New Hampshire has ranked #1 for the healtiest state for kids in the last 8 out of 9 years. This year Minnesota ranked second and Vermont ranked third. The 21st annual report ranks all 50 states on 10 measures of well-being. The data were collected from 2000 to 2008, before most U.S. families were hit by the recession.
