The New Hampshire residential real estate market ended 2012 with the most unit sales since 2006, the highest sales volume since 2007 and a trend toward improving median price over the last 5 months! The 12,961 sales of single family residential properties represented a 21 percent increase over the 10,714 sold in 2011. The total sales volume was $3.2 billion which was 21 percent higher than 2012. The median price in 2012, which had been lagging behind that of 2011 by 6.5 percent after the first four months, ended the year at $202,000; a little more than $201,700 (53 comments)

The New Hampshire Real Estate Market continues to show improvement. Home sales in August continued in an upward trend with 22 percent more sales than in August 2011 according to the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®. Homes sales in New Hampshire increased for the eighth time in eight months that home sales were at least 15 percent ahead of the 2011 pace. This brought the total number of sales to 8,413, 21 perecent head of the 6,973 sales in the first eight months of 2011. For the first time in 2012, the median price was at the (28 comments)

Nashua New Hampshire area farmers will be sharing their fresh fruits, vegetables and more at the Nashua New Hampshire Farmer’s Market which will take place every Sunday on the Main Street bridge through Oct. 21. The next farmer’s market is June 10th. In addition to the fresh produce, a slate of street performers will be performing on a rotating schedule each week.

This Saturday, July 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. is the annual Fair Tale Festival which will take place at the Greeley Park band shell as part of the NH SummerFun Program. This weekend is the beginning of Daylight Saving Time for 2011. The snow is melting in So. New Hampshire and everyone seems to have SPRING FEVER. The FIRST SIGNS of SPRING FEVER are noticeable ~ people are smiling and there is an air of optimism which was buried under all the snow! This Sunday, March 13th, we spring ahead as we begin of Daylight Saving time.

New Hampshire home sales slightly up in January 2011 Despite a frigid and snowy New Hampshire winter, sales in the state increased marginally in the first month of the year over the same period from a year ago, marking the second straight January that has seen a monthly uptick in residential homes sold. According to data released by the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® (NHAR), New Hampshire home sales and prices continued to increase in June, compared to June 2009, The 1,289 statewide residential home sales in June 2010 marked a 10 percent increase over the 1,171 sold in June 2009. The 5,284 homes sold over the first six months of this year represented an 18 percent increase over the same period in 2009. The residential median price was $229,000 in June of this year. The New Hampshire Association of Realtors® released an enews letter today with good news for New Hampshire. According to economists at Moody’s Analytics, what is now being referred to as the Great Recession is technically over! New Hampshire demographer and consumer markets expert, Peter Francese points out that until employment figures rise, it won’t feel so good. However, New Hampshire is in better shape than many states. One of my first posts on Active Rain was an embarrassing story about how I am directionally challenged! Thanks to my friends here on Active Rain, I purchased a GPS, a Garmin® Nuvi. I named my Nuvi "Greenie" because she helps me save money and find my way all around New Hampshire and beyond! I must admit however, that I have a talent for getting lost even with Greenie.
