One Lexington – New ownership, same lifestyle - 03/31/10 03:55 PM
Some people are calling it downtown, some people say mid-town but, either way, there has been a lot of excitement over the One Lexington project on Central Avenue, just south of the light rail station at Osborn. Last night, I got to meet with the developer of the project to hear, first hand, what people are talking about. We also toured some of the models and heard more about the future plans. I got the sense that he really does like the area and believes in the quality of the project. Currently, prices are being promoted for the units as (3 comments)

Tapestry on Central is a Phoenix community that is really coming in to it’s own. In the “Valley of the Sun,” we have been known for sprawl and for building hundreds of subdivisions that look the same with tiled roofs and stucco exteriors. In Central Phoenix, there have been exceptions to this rule with some of our great historic and modern neighborhoods to choose from. Tapestry on Central has brought a 280 unit development consisting of two-story cityhomes, penthouses and flats to an area surrounded by beautiful single family homes in the Willo Historic District near the famed Heard Museum and (2 comments)
Tempe Talkin' Google Fiber - Looking For Help - 03/08/10 05:22 PM
Last week, there was a bunch of talk about Google Fiber possibly coming to Tempe. You might be wondering, "what the heck is Google Fiber?" Well, from the Google site, we find they are doing a national "contest" to bring high speed data to people at a "competitive" cost. "Google is planning to launch an experiment that we hope will make Internet access better and faster for everyone. We plan to test ultra-high speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country. Our networks will deliver Internet speeds more than 100 times faster than what most Americans have (5 comments)
