Pat Tillman was one of the most incredible athletes to wear Maroon and Gold. Tens of thousands of people proudly participate in Pat’s Run each year to honor this fallen soldier. Pat Tillman was tragically killed in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004, and he defines a true American hero.
The 8th annual Pat’s Run at Sun Devil Stadium will be held this Saturday, April 21st 2012. The following information will get you to the event on time and will help you get there without as many parking hassles.

So, ASU has a new coach and the word on the street is that they have much more discipline and a better work ethic. We are hearing good things about coach Graham and his first shot at Spring ball with the Devils.
If you want to get a look at the team, the ASU football spring practices are held at the Kajikawa practice fields in Tempe and are open to the public. Just don’t bring cameras or cell phones, they are not allowed.

Incase you haven’t heard, it’s beer week in Arizona. As part of beer week, there just happens to be a bunch of fun beer stuff going on.
Some of the participants in all of the craziness are the beer drinkers at Dave’s Electric Brewpub. Dave’s has a new brew coming out soon and it is brewed right here in Tempe. This is a classic IPA and is a similar recipe to the current Industrial Pale Ale they sell but with a higher alcohol content and higher hop content. The 2010 Insight Bowl will feature the Missouri Tigers ( 10-2 ) against the Iowa Hawkeyes ( 7-5 ) on December 28th at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. The Insight Bowl will be the first time these two teams have met since 1910.

Last week, there was a bunch of talk about Google Fiber possibly coming to Tempe. You might be wondering, "what the heck is Google Fiber?" Well, from the Google site, we find they are doing a national "contest" to bring high speed data to people at a "competitive" cost.

Not long ago, I came up with the term RailGating. Basically, it is a new way for people to enjoy the football games at Sun Devil Stadium while avoiding traffic and parking nightmares. Now that we have light rail available to drop people off right in front of Sun Devil Stadium, many people are using it to get to the games and a new term has been introduced to light rail riding Sun Devils. Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake is this weekend! With the weather looking good and the huge list of fun things being offered, who could say no?
The Tempe Oktoberfest will be held Friday, October 2nd through Sunday, October 4th at Tempe Town Lake. Of course, the easiest way to get to all of the cool events at Town Lake ( in our opinion) is for you to take the light rail to 3rd Street and Mill. I have mentioned it before, but I LOVE DocuSign for electronic signatures. Talk about a great product for our real estate business - it just can't be beat. In fact, I have also mentioned that DocuSign is so cool, even my mother-in-law loves it. :-)
