North Shore Triple Crown of Surfing Oahu, More Surf and Sun - 12/14/09 10:58 PM
It is winter season in Hawaii, and that means big surf. They held the Eddie Aikau at Waimea Bay in hugh surf. The same day Jaws on Maui was going off in 30 to 40 ft surf. I was talking to Mike Parson in Oahu at Pipeline. He was mentioning that it was bigger at Jaws in 2004, with 60 to 70 ft surf.

I was up early this morning, its been three years since Jaws, Maui has gone off. Today was big, tomorrow will be bigger. Everyone turned out for the hugh surf.

Good news on the ecomony today! - 12/04/09 05:03 PM
After a year of pretty bad news in the real estate market nationally, it was about time to hear some good news. Unemployment rate falls to 10%, U.S. job losses in November posted the smallest drop since the start of the recession. This is good news that the economy is moving in the right direction.
The dollar also took flight on the good news on unemployment. in the U.S. job market, The dollar did really well against the yen and the euro posting its highest gain in two weeks. So what does all this mean for Maui real estate. Is confidence … (4 comments)
