maui short sale: Bottoms Up Maui - 09/05/09 12:22 AM

I was reading the local Maui newspaper this morning. They were saying on the front page that we have hit the bottom of the Maui real estate market.  I tend to agree with this conclusion.  While I do believe it will be a slow climb back to a normal market.  We are already seeing the market moving in a positive direction.  There are some great buys in the Maui real estate market.  Maui short sales are a viable part of our market, this is a driving factor effecting the over all market price.  So my guess is, this winter you will … (3 comments)

maui short sale: Wailea Maui Short Sales - 08/18/09 01:23 PM

This is pretty crazy, Short Sales in Wailea.  Short Sales are here beleive it or not!  The short sale craze really effects the bottom line of the regular real estate market. With properties in Waliea normally offered at $3,200.000, they are closing at $2,1000,00. which is a major upset in places like Hoolei Wailea.  Projects like Wailea Fairway Villas and Wailea Kai Malu, short sales in the $800,000 range really upsetting market prices from last year.  Buyers have been waiting for a market correction to take place in Wailea.  Buyers also know that the time is here now, as we see some great values … (0 comments)
