Tredyffrin Township Offices moved temporarily.
Due to renovation work, on October 11th the Tredyffrin Township offices temporarily moved from their normal location at 1100 DuPortail Road, Berwyn PA 19312 to 850 Cassatt Road, Suite 100, 100 Berwyn Park in Berwyn.
If you need to pay taxes, apply for a permit of some sort, or have questions about zoning, etc asnd need to talk to someone in person then you will need to go to the new location at 850 Cassatt Road Suite 100, 100 Berwyn Park, Berwyn PA 19312 whilst the renovations to the Tredyffrin Township building are under way.

Tredyffrin Township spraying for Mosquitoes
Thursday night 7/31/14 from 8.30 pm to midnight Tredyffrin Township is going to be spraying some areas of the township for mosquitoes. A mosquito with West Nile Virus was recently discovered in Downingtown and this may be the impetus for this action.
For more information and a map you can go to the Chester County website. This will be from trucks and not aerial spraying from helicopters or planes.

All depends, if you want to catch the open air concert before Wilson Farm Park is the place to be, but if you are only interested in watching the fireworks you have some alternative options. I recently had to clear out an apartment for a client, in amidst all the furniture and clothing, was a medicine cabinet packed with old medicines, some were prescription pain killers and other drugs. I did not want these to get into the hands of kids, or into the water system.
I thought I could just take them to any pharmacy and they would know how to dispose of them correctly. I was wrong; in Chester county there are only a few places where you can take drugs for disposal, I ended up taking them to Phoenixville. But I noticed today … (5 comments)

Tredyffrin Easttown school district consists of Tredyffrin Township and Easttown Township along the Main Line, Berwyn, Devon, Strafford and Wayne are all part of the two townships. T/E school district is an award winning school system and like many others right now is struggling with budget issues due to pension plan requirements.

Ranging in price from $187,500 to $1,195,000 26 new listings hit the market in T/E school district in the last week. Four apartments, 7 town homes and 15 single family homes were listed. More homes were listed in Tredyffrin township than Easttown.
Apartments ranged in price from $187,500 for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in Chesterbrook to $419,900 for a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath apartment in Arbordeau a gated community in Devon.

Prices per square foot had dropped in the first half of the year from $213 per square foot to $205, these have risen slightly now to $209, based on 110 home sales in the second half of the year. Days on market were an average of 73 or 92 if relists are removed from the equation, typical numbers for this current market. Prices realized were 96.7% of asking price on the last listed price a very good statistic considering this market.
