I am a top Realtor in Northwest Arkansas and when these tornadoes hit in Joplin, which is so close to home, our community was extremely saddened by Joplin's loss. Painting is a hobby of mine that I do late at night when all my Real Estate obligations have been met. I began painting about 6 years ago after my husband and I opened up a small boutique real estate company and began furnishing it with ART. I decided - after purchasing a few paintings that "I could do that". I have always been pretty creative and love color, design, and all things "beautiful". So I began my journey of "becoming an "ARTIST".
In 2011 I entered my first Art Contest. IO Metro which is an awesome furniture and art store based out of Northwest Arkansas had a LOCAL ART CONTEST via their facebook page. Over 2000 artists entered the contest and 25 works of art were chosen. I WON! My ART will be featured in all of IO METRO's stores across the United States and online. I have since then been commissioned to paint some original paintings - both Abstract and "kid-art" (vintage looking baseballs, footballs and rockets). I really enjoy painting and it has been fun to be able to do both real estate and become an artist at the same time! In early 2009 Wal-Mart announced they would move the Apparel division to New York to be in the "center of the fashion industry" but have decided that is not needed. Bentonville is an amazing place to live and if anyone making this move either “back to Bentonville” or “to Bentonville for the 1st time” I would be honored to assist you with your relocation.
