After 17 years being active and passionately serving in the BPO and REO industry and with much thought and consideration, I have decided to retire and sell both BPO Automation Group and BPO University to my long-time software developer Claro Briones and his wife Celene. They will be taking over and continuing my legacy.
Today marks an eventful and emotional day for me, my family and my companies, BPO Automation Group and BPO University as well as for the new owners.

Time of Year:
   The BPO industry like any market has cycles or times of year when things are busy or slow. The longer you are in the business, the easier it is to spot the patterns.
   For me business got pretty predictable when I was doing BPO work from 2006-2011 and when things would get quiet I would initially get worried but then would quickly snap out of it and remember the cycle.

WHY IS BPO WORK AVAILABLE?
“Where there is a need, opportunity exists” a quote by well… me, at least I hope no one else thought of this!
I have found through personal experience in learning the importance of watching for trends and finding opportunities that have the potential to help vast amounts of people in a positive way.
This same logic applies to why BPO work is available for real estate professionals as a whole. I wish that I could pinpoint and name the exact person who created BPO’s and the exact date when they were first used, but I can’t.

1 MILLION VIEWS ON ACTIVERAIN – HITTING A MILESTONE 😁
What can I say! Today is an exciting day for me because I just found out that I hit a really big milestone with my blog on Activerain.com of getting over 1 million views.

I mistakenly was messing around in the “Stats” area of my Activerain profile and decided to export all of the info on every blog posting that I’ve ever had on the site. When I opened up the .csv file in Excel and did a quick formula to total all of the “Views” it showed 1.2+ Million! Wowzers! 🎉

Who Can Do Broker Price Opinions?As a Broker Price Opinion Agent or Vendor, one is expected to be either an appraiser and/or real estate professional who holds an active license (which is in good standing) by the applicable licensing agency in the state of your residency (such as the Department of Licensing in the state where you work). I believe that speaks volumes and should answer the question as to who is allowed to complete BPO’s.
