Truck rental now offer GPS

We have been offering GPS units (Where2 unit) to customers for about six months now. I have been getting a lot of feed back on how helpful the GPS units have been to many clients. I have seen an increase of the number of people requesting them; however, I am still seeing a lot of surprise that we offer GPS units. So, I thought I would make you aware the next time you rent a truck remember we offer GPS units. Makes sure to ask for a "Where2 Unit".

Labor Day a busy weekend for truck rentals.

Clarksville- Just because you see trucks sitting on a Truck rental company's lot does not mean they are available. It never fails I have people walk in on the weekend wanting to rent a truck. Usually, we can accommodate most requests. However, there are certain dates customers need to be aware that truck are hard to come by. This would be the last weekend of any month or holiday weekends. Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends are this two busiest truck rental weekends of the year. So, if you plan renting a truck during these high need time be sure to reserve the truck in advance. Once again, just because you see trucks sitting on a Truck rental company's lot does not mean they are available.

Lift gate truck not a good idea.

I get requests for lift gate trucks all the time. While Budget does have these trucks we reserve them for our commercial accounts. Our commercial customers will have cargo which require the use of a lift. There a very few items in a typical household that requires a lift. Also, using a lift can create a lot more work. People carrying boxes have to bend down to place the box on the lift then bend down to pick it up again to carry it into the box of the truck. This double the amount of times a person has to bend. Thus, causing more work, extra time, and more possibility of injuries. People moving a household is much better served using a truck with a ramp.

Game to play while traveling

Here is a simple game to play to make the time go by as you travel. "The ABC Game"

The basic rules is to recite the alphabet and the first one to finish wins. The catch? You must see the letter on a sign, building or anywhere else outside the vehicle before you can say the next letter in sequence. Only one person can use a letter per sign. If two people are both stuck on "i" and looking for a "j" the first person to say "j" gets to use the letter. Even the driver can play provided he only uses signs and sights in his normal driving vision. No turning your head Mr. Driver. Good luck and safe traveling.

Rental Cars great weekend rates.

After having another busy weekend renting cars, I wanted to remind people that renting a car is a great economical option for those weekend getaways. I find a lot of people have been renting economy car and this is causing the price of the larger cars and SUV's to come down. So, if you are planning on a weekend vacation consider renting an SUV for the space and a roomier ride.

I just want to take a moment to brag that I am going to be an aunt again. I best friend in the world (Rachel) is gona to have a baaaaaby. I am so excited. She told me last month at my son's birthday party but told me I couldn't tell anyone. Do you know how hard that was for me? She told me I tell people now. So, I am telling the world and I don't know any better way than to share it on Active Rain. Gonna have a baaaaaby!

Cockroaches! Need I say more. You never know who used the boxes before you, what was in the box (food???) nor do you know where the box has been. I recommend you always buy new boxes when moving your household. We offer new boxes at our location. Purchase as many as you need. We will give a full refund on unused boxes. Provided we don't find any cockroaches or eggs.
