Whenever I tell people about the beauty, peace and tranquility I have found in the North Georgia mountains, I'm frequently asked "Why did you choose here?". Let me start by saying we have traveled throughout the Rockies, in both the West and in Canada. Our family trips to the White Mountains have provided us incredible memories. Even our many seashore vacations are some of our most enjoyable times. However, when we began to visit North Georgia, almost 10 years ago, we felt something different.
