Woody Gap School in Suches will be holding their 30th Annual Indian Summer Festival Oct. 6-7, 2007. The festival includes arts and crafts featuring antiques, pottery, leather crafts, needlework, local produce, jewelry, folk art, handcrafted furniture, and homemade goodies. Food concessions are plentiful. Residents and visitors are invited to participate in the Run ABove the Clouds 10K and one mile run starting at 9am on Oct. 6. Saturday night will feature a square dance from 8pm to midnight featuring Jim Wood and the Woodpile Band. Admission is only $4 for ages 13 and up. Children under 6 are free.
