The Festival takes place at Spirit Square in Uptown Charlotte at 345 North College Street. It's free to attend!
The annual Charlotte African-American Festival is a celebration of the rich heritage and accomplishments of the African-American Community and features: Musical performances Art exhibits Dancers Drummers Speakers Literature Food Vendors A journey on the Underground Railroad with Harriet tubman impersonator Black history "Walk of Fame" with interpreters of historical figures
