Homes continued to sell quickly from July through September 2016 with 44% of homes selling in less than one month. The infographic below shows how quickly homes sold in each state. What's worth pointing out is that homes sold so quickly that the time measure now goes up to only 75 days, as opposed to 90 days in the first half of 2016.
Amazingly, homes in 42 out of 50 states + the District of Columbia sold in under 60 days. Homes in 17 state sold in under 30 days.

Home sales are up in virtually every price range as of April 2016 versus one year ago ~ both nationally and in Charlotte, North Carolina. The most recent Existing Home Sales Report from the NAR (National Association of Realtors®) showed increased home sales in five of the six price ranges used to measure home sales. Only homes priced under $100,000 showed a decline, primarily due to lack of inventory. Meanwhile, homes priced from $250,000-$1,000,000 showed double digit increases in sales nationally. The graph below illustrates the increase in home sales over the past year nationally and how the City of Charlotte, North Carolina compares:
