Charlotte gears up to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week, January 12th through Monday, January 18th, with numerous events throughout the metro area. To commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Charlotte events will include a parade, volunteer and award programs, as well as a prayer breakfast.
