No Cell Phone Status....
Maybe I'm not cool enough. In our market of 27,000 plus members we have a fair amount of agents that flat out "refuse" to post their cell phone numbers on the Mls.
Instead they post an office number that they do not work out of!
If an assistant does answer she's usually isn't licensed and is of virtually of little use as she can't answer many questions. She always says things like... "let me call him and see."
What really irritates me is when the unlicensed assistant attempts to present "counters" amendments and basically handle the … (34 comments)

IRS Scam - BEWARE! - 09/18/08 04:11 PM
I received this email from what appeared to be the IRS today. I clicked on the link that reads "Complete Formular"
Where it takes you is to an almost identical looking site to the Internal Revenue Service. It then prompts you to "enter your social, so on so forth."
I called the IRS. They DO NOT email anyone for any reason whatsoever! This is a scam and they are "aware of it."

Hurricane Ike's Impact On Houston Real Estate - 09/17/08 05:44 PM
In Houston, real estate can be as local as your neighborhood. Every area is different. The full effect of Hurricane Ike isn't fully known and as time passes more information will become available to all of us.
On the West & Northwest side of town many homes have regained power, water and trash pick-up. Most of the local roads, highways and entrance and exit ramps are clear for cars to travel.

As usual the scumbags, losers and thugs are once again out and about attempting to take advantage of the weak, hurt and needy.
Here are a few things you should know....
1. Texas New Mexico power does not charge by credit card to turn your power on any faster.
2. The city of Houston is not making random stops to residential properties accepting cash to "clean your yard."
3. Use discretion & logic when donating to any charities or billboard waving individual on our street corners!
